Romestead Logistics guide: connections, cargo and troubleshooting

At a glance

Open Logistics and connect a producer’s Output to a consumer or storage Input. Match Items or Resources to the cargo, then check stock, worker assignment, demand and capacity.

Unlock the Logistics Tent

Defeat the Guardian of Minerva and complete The Giant Owl offering progression. The Logistics Tent moved to this reward in 0.25.1_7, and the version 0.26.2_3 progression guide still lists it at the Guardian’s Eye milestone. Older advice tying it to Pyzifax is outdated for that unlock chain.

The listed tent cost is 6 Lumber and 4 Stone.

Create your first connection

  1. Open Logistics from the Logistics Tent, Workbench or Carpenter’s Workshop.
  2. Drag from the supplier’s Output to the destination’s Input.
  3. Choose Items, Resources, or both to match the cargo.
  4. Choose the supply behavior and check stock at both ends.

Repeating sends goods to the destination’s storage. On Request keeps goods at the source until they are requested. Select an existing connection to edit or delete it.

Start with one known producer and one consumer or Material Storage. Check that the source loses stock and the destination receives or consumes it before expanding the network.

When a connection does nothing

Check Why it matters
Source stock A connection cannot deliver goods that have not been produced
Output → Input Reversed connections do not describe the intended supply chain
Cargo type Physical resources and ordinary items are different categories
Worker and food An unstaffed or starving production line may stop
Storage and demand A full stockpile or an idle consumer can interrupt deliveries

Version 0.26.1_4 lets crafters take items from Material Storage through a Logistics Tent connection. Do not apply an older video’s blanket restriction to every crafter.

Version 0.26.1 also added a Material Storage drop-off zone that never fills. That does not make the actual inventory capacity infinite. Check both the unloading area and the stored goods.
