Prepare the Temple of Vulcan entrance
Core Vessel comes from Talos Prototype and is offered for Minerva’s Profane Artifice. The entrance route starts with 4 Iron Rods and the broken levers around the temple.
The Iron Rod recipe is 1 Iron Bar + 1 Ember Cloth, made by a Blacksmith at job level 5. Blacksmith building Level 2 raises the profession cap to 7; it is not a level-5 building requirement. That building upgrade is associated with Proving Your Worth and costs 6 Lumber, 6 Stone and 10 Brick.
Open the temple
- Find the four broken lever positions around the temple and repair them with Iron Rods. The lever at the front door is not the entire entrance puzzle.
- Operate the repaired levers and interact with the resulting pot to release Vulcan.
- Ask Vulcan at the altar about Craftsman’s Offering.
- Put the requested materials onto the square platform in front of the temple, then operate the front lever.
Match the materials and amounts to the building named in Vulcan’s request. Check that building’s Construction menu before carrying a load to the temple. Use filled Clay containers where Clay is required. The entrance opens when the offering is accepted.
For old saves affected by a vanished offering plate, version 0.25.1_3 states that the Temple of Vulcan opens after restarting. This is a fix for that specific fault, not a replacement for the normal offering route.
Collect and offer the Core Vessel
Complete the Talos Prototype encounter and take the Core Vessel. Return to the town altar, offer it, and check Minerva → Profane Artifice for the completed objective and Claim reward.
The listed rewards include Temple and Carpenter’s Workshop Level 3. You do not need to return to the temple to search for Minerva to turn in this offering.
The autumn update changed dungeon content and world generation. Use the entrance sequence as a reference while following the doors and requests present in your world.
